Each year, middle school chorus teachers send students to represent their schools and our county in the Middle School Honor Chorus.  The event includes a weekend of rehearsals and workshops with guest clinicians who help prepare them for a culminating concert.  The HCS Middle School Honor Chorus is open to all middle school students and narrowed down to only a few select students from each school who exhibit excellence in choral music education.

Our guest clinician for the annual Henry County Middle School Honor Chorus is Mrs. Caitlin BoydWe are honored to have Mrs. Boyd, a HCS chorus and theatre teacher at Luella Middle School,  work with our talented young singers.

We are fortunate to have Ms. Kasey Hawkins as the pianist for all of our honor choruses for the 2023-2024 school year.
