Message from AD Edwards:
Welcome to ARMS Athletics! 🐾 Home of the Jaguars
As we kick off a brand-new school year and athletic season, we’re thrilled to welcome our ARMS community back and extend a warm greeting to all new students, families, and supporters. At ARMS, we are proud to be Jaguars; driven, determined, and dedicated both on and off the field.
Our athletics program is more than just sports. While we strive for excellence in competition, our top priority is academics first. We are committed to accelerating our student-athletes' growth in the classroom, while using athletics as a platform to instill core values like leadership, discipline, teamwork, and resilience. We look forward to a year of growth, achievement, and Jaguar pride. Let’s make this season one to remember! Go Jaguars! 🐆
We would like to recognize and thank our game day workers for their outstanding dedication and hard work. Their commitment behind the scenes plays a crucial role in ensuring that all athletic events operate smoothly and efficiently. From setup to coordination and support throughout each event, their attention to detail and reliability help create a positive experience for our student-athletes, coaches, and spectators. We are grateful for their efforts and the essential role they play in the success of our athletic programs. We would like to recognize the following Jaguar staff volunteers: Ms. Chester, Ms. Harris, Mr. W Moody, Mr. T. Moody, Mr. Patel, Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Butler, Mr. Ingram, Ms. Rodgers, Mr. Weaver.
Congratulations to our softball team on an outstanding fall season and earning a spot in the playoffs! This achievement reflects the team’s hard work, dedication, and teamwork throughout the season. We’re proud of the players, coaches, and everyone who supported the program.
Peyton Lane and Jaiden McClain have demonstrated outstanding commitment early this December. Peyton Lane, a 7th-grade student-athlete in her first year playing basketball, has shown strong dedication through consistent attendance, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and lead by example in practice. Jaiden McClain, also a 7th-grade student-athlete, brings valuable experience to the team and consistently contributes high effort, focus, and leadership during practices. Both athletes are making a positive impact on the team and setting a great standard for their peers.
Alahna Francis-Girls Basketball: “My goal as a captain is to lead by example, support my teammates, and push us to be our best every day.”
Larry Jordan-Boys Basketball: “As a captain I will stay focused and put forth extra effort to help my team.
Sahr Musa-Wrestling: "As a captain, my goal is to lead with discipline."
James Johnson consistently demonstrates excellence in the classroom through strong grades, responsible study habits, and a positive attitude toward learning. They balance academic responsibilities with athletic commitments, setting a great example of dedication, discipline, and time management for their peers.
