Welcome to Luella High School Athletics! We are excited to kick off the 2025-26 school year. Our coaches are eager to enhance achievement and instill pride in our student-athletes both in the classroom and on the field and court. Athlete Spotlight: Who’s Stepping Up Early?” 

Senior Angel Thomas has shown strong leadership this basketball season. The Lady Lions Basketball Team have started with a 5-1 record, and are currently ranked #1 in 3A. Angel averages 16 points and 7 rebounds per game, and her leadership and determination are driving the team toward another deep postseason run.

Student-Athlete Academic Highlights

Fallon Greer exemplifies academic excellence as a student-athlete. She is currently ranked #1 in the Lions Class of 2026 with a 4.433 GPA and is a member of the Swimming Team.

Aryan Shah, also a swimming student-athlete, excels academically and is currently ranked #2 in the Class of 2027. Aryan has been accepted into the Georgia Tech Metro Atlanta STEM Institute Program, which offers select 11th-grade students opportunities to explore academic interests, prepare for college, discover STEM majors and careers, and connect with Georgia Tech students, faculty, and staff.
