Welcome to the strings family!

I have 23 years of experience teaching music, including in Atlanta, Indiana, and the past decade in Richmond. I have taught elementary, middle school, high school, and collegiate students. I equally play all orchestral string instruments, although I tend to demonstrate on violin just due to portability! I teach both string orchestra (violin, viola, cello, and bass) and guitar (classical acoustic 6-string).

I really want to get to know each of the orchestra students and their families. To start the conversation, let me share a little about myself. I live in Richmond's northside with my daughter, who goes to Tuckahoe Middle.  I love to be outdoors, particularly hiking, mountain & road biking, camping, swimming, and kayaking. I have a small garden, read for fun every day, like to cook international cuisine, and travel as much as possible.
