A Fantastic Opportunity to make a change in Post 16
Head boys and head girls are responsible for representing the school at events, and therefore must be able to make public speeches. They also serve as a good role model for students, and share pupils' ideas with the school's leadership.
You are also be expected to lead fellow Post 16 students with Charity and Community events within school.
Duties include;
•Set a good example to others
•Working for Outwood Academy Hemsworth Post 16 & whole school
•Working closely with staff
•Regular meetings with Assistant Principal & P16 Manager & chair meetings
•Organising appropriate events
•Set the standard for good examples of behaviour and encourage the 6th Form to respect the area and keep it tidy and report any problems.
•Be available for school functions such as Assemblies, some Parent’s Evenings, Open Days and other occasions. Be prepared to give presentations if required.
•Entertain and show visitors around the school if necessary.
•Lead 6th Form assembly sessions to feedback the work of the Committee and to take ideas and suggestions from the NSC, to the Head of 6th Form.
•Make every effort to seek out the views of the OAH and act on the requests made to it
