Celebrating Success

At Outwood Academy Hemsworth we are delighted with record breaking results. Despite some grades being lowered through the government’s standardisation process we have still improved our results in all measures (A*/A, A*/B, A*/C and A*/E). In the last two years since the academy converted to Outwood Grange Academies Trust, on average each A level grade has improved by nearly two grades. This means students who attend the academy are now likely to perform a whole grade higher than expected by the government.
