Reading-
Raz Kids Please read 1-2 books daily. If you are not reading Raz Kids at the moment, please share with us what books your child is enjoying.
Consider asking your child the following questions after reading a book outside the Raz Kid's program:
What was your story about? Who was in your story? What do you think may happen after the story?
Math-

**Count your steps: Starting at your front door, count how many steps you take to get to your sidewalk, sidewalk to garage, garage to backyard. Where else could you go and count your steps?
**Trees and Plants graph***
Have you child count the trees and plants on your property. Have them make tally as they find trees and plants. Can you turn that into a bar graph? In our class we talked about most and least when we looked at our class graphs. Can you add those words to your graph?
Ask your child which one is the most and which one is the least.
Extended Plant Idea-
Find a plant inside or outside your home. Draw a picture of that plant and label the different parts? Does your plant have leaves? Does it have a bud? Don't forget to think about what may be under the dirt. Looking forward to seeing your picture. Remember to add details.
