Offline Math: We haven’t explored patterns in a while. This week, we want you to bring a pail or bag with you as you go for a walk in your neighbourhood or your backyard. BE detectives and collect items from the ground. Look for sticks, leaves, stones, pinecorns, flowers, whatever you can find. Once you get back home, can you make a pattern? Everyone can make an AB pattern, so try and challenge yourself (ABC, AAB, ABB). Remember to start your pattern on your left. Send us your patterns!! Here is Mrs. Withers’ pattern.
For this week we would like our students to list different things that they would like to do for the summer.
Jk- Have you child write the first letter of what they like to do in the summer. Parents you can finish writing the words for you child or you can use the highlighter and finish the word and have them to trace it
Sk- Have your child write 5 different things they want do this summer. Encourage them to sound out the words and write the sounds they hear.
