French Club President - Lyna Bacha

Bonjour! My name is Lyna Bacha and I am a Senior DFAB major at High Tech. I have been a part of the French Club since Frenchman year and have been studying the language for 4 years. The French culture has always been a part of my life growing up as an Algerian and through this club, I have been able to learn even more. From staying late to package macarons afterschool, to seeing the Phantom of the Opera, this club is an important part of my High Tech experience. Hope you'll join us!

Mission Statement

High Tech's French Club is an inclusive club for students from 9th grade to 12th grade who want to learn more about the French culture, food, history, art, and music through fun trips and experiences. Our goal is to fundraise through events such as bake sales, candy grams, and raffles, to attend trips ranging from broadway shows to museums. The French Club is one of the most active clubs at High Tech!

FRENCH THEMED PAINTING EVENT

The French Club recently hosted a lively and colorful "French Themed Painting" event. Students were invited to delve into the world of renowned French artists like Monet and Van Gogh. Each participant selected a favorite artist and attempted to recreate their signature style. The atmosphere was filled with vibrant colors, enthusiastic chatter, French music, and the gentle hum of brushes against canvas paper. The results were a delightful array of interpretations, showcasing the students' creativity and appreciation for French art.
