What ducks need to eat?
Ducks need greens such as vegetables, leaves and plants. When Pekin ducks are exactly born out of the egg they need to eat weeds, grass and lettuce in there newborn life. Never feed ducks without water. Water helps get food down there throat and into the stomach and to clean their beaks. For a start with 20% protein for the first 10 weeks you need to switch to a 15% grower weeks 10-18, and a 16% layer after 18 weeks. Zucchini, green peas, leafy greens, corn, vegetable peels, non-citrus fruit and worms, you can feed all of those to your duck.
Where ducks live ?
Ducks live in wetlands such as lakes, rivers, ponds, and oceans because they love their wet territory. Ducks are attracted to there territory's because they have small fish, fish eggs snails and worms to eat.Ducks live in many wet lands but in winter ducks go to warmer places to raze there young ducks go to different habitats all through out the year.Ducks mostly live in humid places but ducks are just fine with 20 degrees. A Pekin duck needs in its habitat ,food, water and trees to give the Peking duck air and sunlight. They also need to get very close to rivers, streams or lakes because the can swim and drink from the rivers, lakes and streams.

A baby pekin duck would go under a warm place but they would know what to do depending on their age/weeks old. They would have to eat or hunt for their food because without food or water the animal would starve. A baby pekin duck would stay in its home and stay there for a while just till it was time to eat/drink.
