When Ben Miliam gave a speech, he and his men invaded San Antonio de Bexar. After he won, came the Alamo....
The Texians were about to go home for the winter when Ben Miliam rounded them up to attack.
They entered through the back of town so they would not be seen. Soon after, however, they were spotted. To hide, they entered the houses. Frank Jhonson (Matamoros) also had troops in bexar. Miliam decided to dig trenches to beat the Mexicans house by house. He was told that there were cannons in the main plaza. When he got there, he had a cannon!! By using it, he defeated the Mexicans and won Bexar.
But, a good story has sad parts. Before capturing the main plaza, he was shot by Felix De La Garza, the best shot in the Mexican army. He killed old Ben (Ben Miliam) before being shot by the Texian sharpshooters. Jhonson (Matamoros) commanded the battle after old Ben died.
After Bexar, Jim Bowie arrived with orders to take down the Alamo. He disobeyed them. the Alamo takes it from here...
