Dress Code

Shirts/Tops

· Any solid color Polo shirts with long or short sleeves and must have a collar.

· Any solid color t-shirt (long or short sleeved) must be worn under polo only.

· All shirts must be tucked in at all times.

Pants/Slacks:

· Khaki, Only (no denim or jeans style or stretch material)

· Must be fastened securely at the waist with a belt if loops are provided.

· Hemmed appropriately, no rips, holes or tears.

Shorts

· Khaki only (no denim or jeans style or stretch material)

· Walking shorts only, full cut style, full length and hemmed (top of the knee)

A quick test for the correct length of shorts or a skirt is to have the student hold their hands to their side. They are too short if the hem of the shorts/skirt does not reach the fingertips.

Sweatshirts/Sweaters

· Any solid color (no pockets or hoods, please)

· There will be no inappropriate or offensive writing on the clothing.

· East Lake Academy hoodies may be worn at any time. They can be purchased through the bookstore.

Shoes

· No open toe, backless shoes, high heels, slippers, slides, Crocs, or flip-flops.

Outerwear, Coats, Hats, Book bags, Backpacks and Purses

· These items must be kept with students due to COVID restrictions.

· All clothing must be size appropriate.

· Do-rags or other headgear are not allowed. Girls may wear allowable school colored hair bands if worn on hair.

· No more than 2 necklaces or bracelets allowed

Jean Days and Out of Uniform Passes

Students who have achieved levels of excellence as determined by administration will be rewarded with dress-down days as announced.
