Success Criteria

Specific: I will increase my reading age.
Measurable: I will move up by at least 6 months.
Achievable: By reading every night for 15 minutes and completing my follow-up tasks.
Relevant: This will help me understand more complex texts.
Time-bound: By the end of Term 2.
SMART Goal:
By the end of Term 2, I will increase my reading age by at least 6 months by reading for 15 minutes every night and completing all my reading tasks
Specific: I will improve my reading fluency.
Measurable: I will read 120 words correctly per minute with expression.
Achievable: By practising the same text 3 times a week.
Relevant: This will help me read smoothly and confidently.
Time-bound: Within 8 weeks.
SMART Goal:
Within 8 weeks, I will improve my reading fluency to 120 correct words per minute by practising my reading 3 times each week.
Specific: I will improve my comprehension.
Measurable: I will answer inferencing questions correctly in 4 out of 5 attempts.
Achievable: By using evidence from the text to support my answers.
Relevant: This will help me understand deeper meanings in texts.
Time-bound: By the end of the term.
