The destination for the 2023 international experience was Córdoba, Argentina. There, Naia, Olivia, Isaiah, Sam, and Professor Segre worked on a local dog shelter. The project included building new fences, renovating a storage room, and creating concrete shelters for the dogs. During their free time, the scholars got a chance to visit a few museums, hike Los Gigantes, and explore Paseo de las Artes. A favorite memory for many of the travelers at the homestay was eating dinner together each evening. This time gave everyone the opportunity to grow closer to their fellow scholars and learn from the local hosts. The group left Argentina with a new perspective of working in teams and learning from the experiences of those around them.
