FAFSA is a federally funded form that awards money based on need and background to give current and prospective students federal funding. All students are encouraged to fill out the form to determine their eligibility for possible federal aid.
The UH General Scholarship Common Application opens every Fall semester. The UH Foundation distributes roughly $5 Million every year. The common application is a single application process, meaning you only have to do the application once. Students are encouraged to apply for the general application regardless of applicability in the event you fullfil a requirement you were not aware of.
CTAHR awards over $250,000 in scholarships to recipients in all CTAHR majors. Most CTAHR scholarships award money in exchange to service in environmental stewardship, cultural conservation, education, or research. Scholarship applications are normally facilitated through STAR Scholarships and the UH Foundation.
Dr, Pingsun Leung is an esteemed Professor Emeritus of NREM at UH Mānoa. The focus of his research program has been in developing quantitative economics models to assist and inform the management of aquaculture, fisheries, regional economy and local food development both in the public and private sectors of Hawai‘i and beyond
Dr. Leung has served as a consultant to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, Network of Aquaculture Centres in Asia-Pacific, the Asian Development Bank, Mekong River Commission, WorldFish Center, United Nations Development Programme and several state and local agencies in Hawai‘i.
This scholarship, provided exclusively for NREM students, provides financial support for the
UHM's Internal Job Management service, SECE, posts position openings and financial aid opportunities on the website.
UHM also offers Federal Work Study programs to undergraduate and graduate student. Students can fulfill normal working hours at various UH associated jobs that contribute towards their tuitions.
