In this unit, our class will be coding a Minecraft Educational Edition Agent to build something in the engine of the popular Minecraft video game. The project entails using the game's program to make and put to use an Agent, a little critter in the game who will use whatever command you type.In my Minecraft Educational Edition world, I'm going to make a hole in the side of a mountain using TNT and make a shelter with material blocks, specifically Glowstone blocks. This is something I did frequently when I was younger, playing the original game. I think It'll be a lot of fun! The only problem initially will be finding a relatively even mountain face in which to build said Glowstone shelter.

Now that I am done, I am quite proud of the finished product. I made my Agent blow up this cliff wall to make the Glowstone walls. It was fun to figure out how to code the agent! In order to build my house, I had my Agent build rows and columns alternatively to make a shelter.
This could teach me to program a video game character in the future. I think this because I really got a feel for what to do in order to accomplish certain tasks with my Agent, how to teach him to build a column, or a row, or how to dig a hole. Also, I think this could be a teaching moment to teach me to be an innovative designer, in that I had to think of a design, think of a way to achieve the design, and overcome any problems I might face. It was an Empowered Learner Project too, since I has to learn the basics of the game, as well as the intricate coding process.
I overcame a challenge in that I had to work out many kinks in my program, little problems preventing maximum efficiency of my Agent. Now, without further to do, here I will list 25 uses for an Agent:
1. To build things in a dangerous or deadly area
2. To build an understanding of the beginning of game design
3. To learn how to code in an already existing space
4. To provide entertainment while also teaching young children
5. To provide a bit of a challenge to already experienced players
6. To have a project that is fun and engaging but still educational
7. To ease children into the coding experience, using the block coding
8. To build any number of things faster than normal.
9. To build things without doing it yourself.
10. To challenge yourself to build the object in question with the added entertainment of watching the Agent run around
11. To add the challenge of coding to the traditional Minecraft experience
12. To help children relate to their project, keeping them more engaged
13. To help children be creative with their project
14. To build a shelter
15. To build a statue
16. To build a farm
17. To build a barn
18. To build a river using a dug path along with a Water Bucket
19. To build an army of other Agents using the Agent Egg. Enjoy your team of mercenaries.
20. To build a giant model of your computer and make a design mirroring the screen in it. Infinite regress.
21. To make a keyboard for the aforementioned computer
22. To make a cave full of Wolves for no reason
23. To murder random NPCs with no physical reprecussions. Only mental trauma.
24. To make a giant model of an Agent
25. To have the Agent make an Iron Golem, to be the master of the master of an Iron Golem
