Using monitors, Delightex Edu, iPad, my website, and the MERGE Cube, I created a short story because I wanted to tell the story of Taco's ghost. I think the story of Taco's ghost is very funny, and I used my resources responsibly to make the story come to life. The story is on all six sides of the MERGE Cube and creatively tells the story.
During this process, I learned how to set animations on objects, how to bring in new things, how to duplicate objects, and how to group them. Learning all these things helped me make my story. Setting animations helped bring my story to life and duplicating it allowed the process to be easier and faster.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because I shared my progress with the world through my website. It also ties to Creative Communicator because I communicated the story of Taco and her ghost.
A challenge I overcame on this project was flipping things around. I was able to do it by asking for help and playing with the controls. By asking for help, I quickly overcame the struggle.
Given a chance to do this again, I would make my story more complex. The reason why I would change it is because it was simple and easy to do, so I finished it quickly. I would make it more difficult and take longer to given the chance to do it again.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. This is because I had to use a screen to see and access my creation
My project connects to careers in AR Software Developer/Engineering because it deals with Augmented reality and creates immersive AR worlds like I did here. AR Software Developers create applications that overlay 3D objects into the physical world.
