7P1 - Video Project

Using iMovie, Google Drive, iPads, Creative Commons Images and music, I created a movie about my interests because I want to share my interests with the world on my websites.

During this process, I learned how to use iMovie, make a folder on Drive, attach videos, do titles, do voiceovers, and add sound effects to movies.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator because I shared my creative interests, music taste, and created a creative movie about my interests. . My project also ties to Global Collaborator because I made a video to share my interest with the world.

A challenge I overcame on this project was not being able to find Creative Common images of Repugnant and Ghost. I was able to do it by using a definition for the word 'Repugnant' instead of the actual band and using a picture of a ghost instead of the band.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change my voiceovers. The reason why I would change it is because I didn't sound as enthusiastic as I could've been and I could've sounded more professional.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in Multimedia Art and Animation because I used pictures, music, making videos, and making voiceovers. I also included in my project that I love to draw and make stories, which being an animator would allow me to do.
