• Using Cardboard a hot glue gun and paper, I created a fishing pole because it felt like a fun idea and i wanted to see the process.

• During this process, I learned how to construct stuff with cardboard and the things you can make with the right tools.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge constructor because i used my memory to construct and design this project there fore my knowledge.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was making the handle. I was able to do it by perseverance.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change add more color. The reason why I would change it is because i didn't have enough time to do this.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering and design CTE program at Hastings High School because i engineered a design used my resources to create a item.  

• My project connects to careers in engineering and design/architecture because i am building/ designing and i made a drawing for my build .
