P8 Snow Day Jingle

Using a microphone and a mic, we created a short film in case of a snow day this winter season, because we want people to know in advance with out the hustle of getting to school and finding out then.During this process, I learned how to make how to connect the mic to the iPad. The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because we got to chose what type of video we wanted to do . Another standard our project tied to would be Creative Communicator because we have a group of people all working together.A challenge I overcame on this project was coming up with lyrics for the video . I was able to do it by problem solving, in our group we each came up with a line for the song. This helped so one person could not be tasked with all of the song lyrics.Given a chance to do this again, I would change the type of song it. The reason why I would change it is because i would rather have the tune to a different song and just change the lyrics like we saw some groups do. This project connect to careers in music industry and filming commercials.
