Using an old computer monitor, I created a disco plate because I was curious if it would work like a disco ball.
During this process, I learned how to carefully disassemble a computer monitor.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because I asked questions about what I would make, and I stuck with the same project until I finished.
A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out where to put my led lights. I was able to do it by looking at what i thought was the best.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the glass that i used. The reason why I would change it is because i feel like it could've looked better.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Mechanical Designer because i had to design this project to make what i made .
