Using strawbies, I created a kite because I wanted to make a kite.
During this process, I learned how to use strawbies.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because I stuck with the same project the whole time.
A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the kite to fly . I was able to do it by trying to throw it different ways.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the wax paper on it. The reason why I would change it is because it could've been better.

My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.
