Using imovie and a green screen, I created a zombie apocalypse news video  because I like zombies.

During this process, I learned how to use a green screen.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because i asked questions on a real topic and i stuck with the same project till it was done.

A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the right sounds in the video. I was able to do it by asking my team what sounded the best.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the type of story. The reason why I would change it is because I feel like it was a good idea but wasn't that good.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the digital media CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in reporting because we were talking about news.
