Using a micro bit, I created name speller, a thermometer, a silly face maker, a dice roller, a jukebox and a magic 8 ball. because they all sounded like cool ideas. Plus they all turned out really cool.
During this process, I learned how to program a micro bit. how to download the program to the micro bit. and I also learned what a micro bit is.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to global collaborator because I'm sharing my ideas to the world with this website. I'm also a global collaborator because I'm also sharing this website with my friends.
A challenge I overcame on this project was coding the jukebox. I was able to do it by looking at the photo provided. Looking for the block and coding it.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how much happened when you pressed the button. The reason why I would change it is because it would have looked better. The led lights would have looked better.
