7P1 about me video

Using an iPad and iMovie, I created a video about things I like and am interested in to show people things about me and who I am.

During this process, I learned how to use and make things with materials I'm not familiar with or have never used before.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to digital citizen and empowered learner because I knew what to do, listened to instructions clearly, and posted my project online using images that were non-copyrighted and using photos professionally. 

A challenge I overcame on this project was finding non-copyrighted images and a good place to record my audio. I was able to do it by finding a quiet place to record my audio, like being far away from people. To find non-copyrighted images, I had to use my search tools, which limited a lot of my images to use.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the music and effects I used, and I would find more photos of things I like.  The reason why I would change it is because I feel like I didn't put in enough effort or that it was good enough for work.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multi-Media CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in Digital Multi-Media because I used technology and devices for my project.
