My Reflection

• Using an iPad, iMovie, and creative commons pictures I created a movie about myself because I wanted people to have slight background knowledge about me before I started uploading my projects to the internet. One reason why this video is a good idea because when people are looking for things on the internet they typically want a back ground. An example of this is if you're looking up a health question, you might want to see if they are a doctor or have a license to make sure that their answers are truthful.

• During this process, I learned how to add text on Imovie. I learned this by googling how to add text because I was confused. Another thing I learned while making this project was how to add a voice over on iMovie. 

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to being a digital citizen because I used creative commons images instead of using copyrighted ones just from google.. Another reason my project ties to being a digital citizen is because I made my own original project and didn't just take one from someone else and copy it. 

• A challenge I overcame on this project was finding images that weren't copyright. This was a struggle because one of my questions was favorite show and when I put in creative commons all the search results disappeared. One way I solved this issue was by making up new topics to come up with new topics I asked the person next to me what they were doing so I could get inspiration.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change is my volume when I'm doing the voice over. One reason I would change this is because you couldn't understand what I was saying. This is a problem because that means my images look random without an explanation, making my project harder to understand. So, given the chance to do this project again, I would change my volume when speaking.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program because I used two different types of media to create a project (Ipad & Imovie).

• My project connects to the career Videographer because I created and made a video by myself. Using the website Indeed, it tells me that a Videographer is someone that completes the process of video production by themselves. They make about 50,000 dollars per year. In conclusion my project connects to the career videographer.
