Using Cospaces I created a scene from my book because I love the series and wanted to bring it to life.
During this process, I learned how to use code blocks to make things move, interactable, etc.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because I thought up something creative and made it real by myself making new things and coming up with new ideas as I went along.
A challenge I overcame on this project was struggling with coblocks because I didn't understand how to use them. I was able to do it by referencing a friends code and figuring out blocks' functions.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change I'd change the code. The reason why I would change it is because I didn't fulfill all my ideas due to time.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in game design because I made a interactable experience with similar technology to what they used today.
