8P5 - Hotwheels track

Using track, I created a Hot Wheels track for cars

 because I wanna see at what speeds and heights to do different parts of the track.

During this process, I learned how to build a turn and jumps.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designerbecause I had to make my creation with my hands and with my imagination.

A challenge I overcame in this project was the metal sheet. I was able to do it by finding the right pieces for my Lego creation this was hard because all the legos were scattered everywhere.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the thing I made to something harder because I would like to challenge myself. The reason why I would change it is because I would like to see what else I can do by myself.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the construction trades CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in Architect because they design and plan buildings and create digital or physical models.
