8P4 - Lego Build

Using Legos, I created a Lego bike because I want to see what I can build with the right pieces to create what I want with Legos.

During this process, I learned how to build a moving bike out of Legos and what details to add to it.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative Designer because I had Think on what I'm  going to make and find the right parts to make my creation with my hands and with my imagination.

A challenge I overcame in this project was the metal sheet. I was able to do it by finding the right pieces for my Lego creation this was hard because all the legos were scattered everywhere and buried deep in the bin.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the thing I made to something harder and adding more details because I would like to challenge myself. The reason why I would change it is because I would like to see what else I can do by myself and the cool details I could add.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the construction trades CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in Architect because they think on what they are going to build and get the right things that they need and design and plan buildings and create digital or physical models.
