Using Tinker Cad, 3d printers and a string, I created a customized necklace because it looks cool and sounded fun.
During this process, I learned how to make a 3d print project with tinker cad .
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational Thinker because I had to think of something creative and make it.
A challenge I overcame on this project was making customized letters in the 3d project. I was able to do it by picturing it in my head and making it.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the necklace into something different like a stand for something. The reason why I would change it is because because it stands out for a necklace.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Computer Programming because i had to program a 3d buid.
First I made a platform and made a "K" and made it look cool.
On this day I made an "L" so it stood for my initials.
Then I made them smaller and same height so it could fit on the square.
I grouped it so it could print
Then i added a little ring so i could turn it into a necklace after it is printed.
