Planning Questions:
Are you working by yourself or in a team? I am working by myself.
What materials will you need for your project? Materials I will need for my project are Lego pieces, Lego base plats, and iPad.
What is your plan to create in this project? My plan is to make the outer walls then add design to it.
What unique qualities will your project have? The unique qualities that my project has is that my project will be a mini house for my cousin.
Using Lego pieces and the internet , I created a house because I make a Christmas gift for my cousin.
During this process, I learned to build a mini Lego house.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I chose what Lego pieces to use, what to make how big to make it.
A challenge I overcame on this project was what pieces to go where. I was able to do it by configuration pieces in different places.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change some of the designs. The reason why I would change some of the designs because some of them don't fit it it.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Architect, model builder, certified professionals, and bricks into a full-time or part-time profession.
Daily Log:
Day 1-2: I was figuring out what to make and worked on my website.
Day 3: figure out what pieces to use.
Day 4-5: make the mini house and add some design on it.
day 6-7: finish the mini house.
