Planning Questions:
Are you working by yourself or in a team? I am working with Jordyn.
What materials will you need for your project? Materials I will need for my project are the building blocks
What is your plan to create in this project? My plan is to make a horse barn
What unique qualities will your project have? The unique qualities that my project has a open area in the inside.
Using Keva blocks and the internet , I created a horse barn because I make challenge are selves.
During this process, I learned to build something with the Keva blocks.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I chose were to put the block, what to make, and what blocks to use.
A challenge I overcame on this project was what pieces to go where. I was able to do it by configuration pieces in different places.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of blocks. The reason why I would change amount of blocks we almost ran out of blocks.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Architect, model builder, and certified professionals.
Daily Log:
Day 1-2:we was figuring out what to make.
Day 3:made the base and started the walls.
Day 4-6:finished the walls and roof and finished it.
