day 2- I started working on my design and I'm making a name tag? for my cat kit kat. then I sent it to get laser cut.
Day 3- I finally got it cut out and finished
day 1- this is me starting my design and working on it.
day 2- this is the finished design with the text and name on it I have my cats name and a heart on the bottom.
Planning questions:
1- Am I working by myself or a team?
I am working by myself.
2- what materials will you need for your project?
I will need a laser cutter and tinkercad to make the cat tag.
3- what is your plan to create in this project?
My plan is to create a cat tag to put on my cat's tag.
4- what unique qualities will your project have?
it will be laser cut and have engravings.
in conclusion:
Using the laser cutter and tinkercad, I created a cat tag because it was something I haven't done before and something new.
During this process, I learned how to use the laser cutter.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project tries to computational thinker because my project uses technology .to solve problems around me like having a cat tag.
A challenge I overcame on this project was sending the different .shapes and engraving I was able to do it by asking a friend to help me and sending it apart.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change my design and do some detail. The reason why I would change it is that its plain and doesn't have detail.
