Finished video:
Day 1- the look of the mug
Day 3- this the finished project
Day 4- this is the finished project.
Progress:
Day 1- On day 1 I was originally going to make a mug so this idea was fast and the next day I was going to add more stuff but the class ended so I didn't.
Day 2- while I was finishing my list of 25 I got a great idea to make an AirPods case I was going to go get it from the locker and measure it but I decided to look up the measurements then I got to working on it.
Day 3- I finished my AirPods case and then I put it in the 3d printer so it can print and so I can test it tomarrow.
dAY 4- I finished my project and it finally printed and it is a little small o it would scratch and it wasn't as tall as it should be and the top is kinda messed up.
Day 2- This is the project and also the measurements
Planning Questions:
1) Are you working by yourself or a team?
I am working by myself.
2) What materials will you need for your project?
I will need a computer, tinkercad (a website), and a 3d printer.
3) What is your plan to create in your project?
My plan is to make an AirPods case for my AirPods to use and protect.
4) What unique Qualities will your project have?
My project will have a unique shape and also it was suppose to be attached but it is detached but it can still make the AirPods open and close
In conclusion:
Using a computer and a 3d printer also with the help of a website called tinkecad, I created an AirPods case because I thought it would be a cool idea and a fun little project..
During this process, I learned about measuring to make sure that the case fit and was tall enough..
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational thinker because I used technology to solve problems around me a problem was I had no protection for my AirPods but I used a 3d printer to make some.
A challenge I overcame on this project was the measurements I had a hard time at first but i got the hang of it. I was able to do it by looking up the mesurements and using my own AirPods and measuring it myself.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the height and the height and the lengnth. The reason why I would change it is that the height was to short and the length was a little small so it would scratch the AirPods.
