Are you working by yourself or in a team?
I am working by myself in this project
What materials will you need for your project?
I will need coding, a Micro bit, and a computer
What is your plan to create in this project?
My plan is to make sentences in the Micro bit
What unique qualities will your project have?
Some unique qualities that my project will have a lot of sentences and a smiley face with fireworks.
Using the Micro bit, I created a coded message with fireworks because I wanted to create something different from everyone else.
During this process, I learned that coding was hard to figure out (Mostly how it showed up and how it looked).
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator because I was creative with the Micro bit and what I created.
A challenge I overcame on this project was coding. I was able to do it by trying my best at it and experimenting with the codes.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way the smiley looked. The reason why I would change it is because the smiley face looks a little weird to me because it is very normal and I would like to make it more detailed.
