Are you working by yourself or in a team?

I am working in a team of three to make this project.

What materials will you need for your project?

Some materials that we will need is a Makey Makey, plate, playdough, and a computer.

What is your plan to create in this project?

Our plan is to make the Makey Makey work with a game (Subway Surfers) and play the game.

What unique qualities will your project have?

One unique quality that our project will have is that it is a well working game.

Using Makey Makey, I created a working game with my friends, because it was for a project and we wanted to see if we could make a working game and we did.

During this process, I learned that it is very hard to play a game with makey makey, also I learned that using makey makey was harder than I thought to use.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational Thinker because we had to use makey makeys and a computer also we had to think about how to use them both together for it to work.

A challenge I overcame on this project was the putting together and working with the makey makey. I was able to do it by working with my friends and helping each other.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the games that we played. The reason why I would change it is because the games where hard to play, Subway Surfers was an ok game but the piano game was hard because we also had to use the mouse for it to work.

My project connects to the Computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Web Developer.
