What materials will you need for your project?

Some materials that I will need are: My cardboard project and some supplies, a 3-D printer, A idea for what I am gonna print, a computer.

What is your plan to create in this project?

My plan is to somewhat finish the cardboard dragon from last semester, also my plan is to make a 3-D print of a dragon.

What unique qualities will your project have?

Some unique qualities that my project will have are: A big dragon head, and a very detailed printed dragon.

Using the 3-D printer and a old project, I created a 3-D printed dragon and somewhat finished the cardboard dragon head because for our last project we are making what we can/want from the machines in the room.

During this process, I learned that it takes a pretty long time to 3-D print things.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I designed two similar things (A dragon head and a small dragon.

A challenge I overcame on this project was how small the 3-D printed dragon was. I was able to do it by going along with what I was doing and somehow incorporate into the project.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the size of the 3-D printed dragon. The reason why I would change it is because it is really small.

My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in building and constructing.
