Daily Log:

Day 1 ( Got out the drones and connected them to V.R and began the basics of flying.

Day 2 ( My partner bailed on me and i messed around with the idea of a hype video for baseball.

Day 3 ( I bailed on that idea and moved onto paper airplanes and watched some videos on how to build them and started a few.

Day 4 ( I made 2 different airplanes the "ridge" airplane and the "blunt dart" .

Day 5 ( I flew them and took videos for my website.

Day 6 ( I kept experimenting with them and kinda just messed around throwing them in different arm angles and arm slots.

.Using a 10 by 12 piece of paper, I created 2 paper airplanes because i wanted to see how far i can make one fly .

• During this process, I learned which type of wing types work best.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to digital citizen because i took technology to get ideas and then added to that and created my own paper airplane with my own touch.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to find a well balanced airplane with even weight so it can glide. I was able to do it by adding enough weight in the back so when its going down it has enough weight to pick it back up..

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change nothing i think this project was a total success l accomplished my goals.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in flight.
