OUR TRACK WAS MADE BY ALL OURSELVES AND ALL OUR IDEAS IN ONE AND IT WENT ALL AROUND THE CLASSROOM

Daily Log:

Day 1 ( I got out the drones and took some videos

Day 2( I helped my classmates with there passion project and they invited me to be part of there group so I dropped the drone idea and joined my classmates group which was hot wheels

Day 3( we built the track and took some blooper videos' and pictures

Day 4( We rebuilt the track and took a video and added some editing at the end of the video to add sarcasm

Day 5( we worked on our websites and messed around

Day 6( We finalized everything and turned it in

Paragraphs

• Using a hot wheels track and some hot wheels cars , I created a a hot wheels track that had all our ideas in it. We did this so it was all of ours passion and it really showed all of ours creativity in it. And even tough we might not be racing cars when were older or working for hot wheels its still our passion. That's because our passion is to come together and have fun as a class and bond with one another and get to know each other and I think we really accomplished this in this project.

• During this process, I learned how to make a hot wheels track and making sure I include all of ours creativity into it. We also used the cabinets top support the track like I mentioned earlier. This was one of our biggest challenges. Another thing I learned was to hear everybody's ideas out because everybody had lots of ideas and if you aren't nice and don't hear them out it can cause conflict so listening and not always talking was a big thing I learned.

• The 7 standards of the class are "Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator". My project ties to creative communicator. This ties to our project because we shared our passion in creative way with our friends.

• a challenge we faced in this project was getting the starting point right and making sure the first dip wasn't to tight or to saggy. When the track was to saggy in the beginning it couldn't make it up the "hill" and it didn't have enough speed. But if it was too tight it would have to much speed and fall off the track. Si finding a happy medium was a big challenge.

• Given a chance to do this again, I wouldn't change much I think we accomplished our goal we included all of our creative ideas into this project. One thing though is I would have included all of us into the video only 2 out of the 4 of us were in the video 2 of us were recording so we weren't in the video being recorded. This would have e been hard to incorporate cause someone has to record but that's the one thing id change if I could do it again.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Construction trades CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in race car driving engineering. Our project could also connect the architect because we designed our own idea and made it work and be successful. These are high demanding jobs that pay well so they would be great careers to go into.
