Daily Log:

1( We got out the hot wheels out and made a track

2( I went out in the hall way and figured out how to drive/control the bolts

3( I worked on the ramp distance and did some practice runs.

4( we took our videos and messed around with hot wheels

5( we worked on our projects ( digital portfolio)

• Using sphere bolt , I created a robot controlled by a joy stick that could jump a ramp because i thought it would be cool.

• During this process, I learned how far apart my ramps needed to be apart.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to creative communicator because i used a robot to jump a ramp

• A challenge I overcame on this project was the distance between the two ramps. I was able to do it by trial and error.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change nothing in this project it went well .

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in the engineering part.
