Using a micro bit, I created a code to text people because they were the hardest and I wanted a bit of a challenge.
During this process, I learned coding takes a lot of trial and error.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative designer because I had a lot of trial and error but still found away to make the codes.
A challenge I overcame on this project was a lot of the time my code would not work. I was able to do it by keep trying and not give up.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way I coded because when I first did it I did one thing then changed to another. The reason why I would change it is because it made finding the thing that I was working on hard.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in coding for games and other uses for coding.
