8P6 - Merge Cube

Using a computer, merge cube, and an Ipad I created a little forest with animals, some trees and grass. because I thought it would be fun to just make a cute little forest that includes different types of animals and other details that go with.

During this process, I learned how to use the merge cube and how to get it onto the actual cube itself. Before this project I didn't remember how to use the merge cube I only knew how get the design but didn't know how to get it onto the cube.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I had to come up with the design to put onto the cube and how much detail I wanted to add to it.

A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to use the merge cube and how to get designs onto the cube.. I was able to do it by testing out certain things and looking around for things that could show me how to get the design onto the cube and what to do.

Given a chance to do this again, I would add more detail and maybe add more scenes to the cube. The reason why I would change it is because it would make the project more difficult and make it longer so then I could advance my ability to use merge cube and CoSpaces along with the Ipads.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in engineering like designer certain things like houses.
