Class Standards and Design Thinking
Standards:
In this class, we will be using the Michigan Integrated Technology Competencies for Students (MITECS) also known as the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards. For each standard, you will write a 3 to 5 sentence paragraph. Please use this link to create your paragraphs.
I, as the learner, am making a choice about my learning. I am making a determination as to whether or not I made my goal. I am using technology and feedback to improve my learning. I can transfer my technology skills from one device to another.
Do not share personal information. Do not violate Copyright and steal other people's work. Use Data appropriately and smartly.
Use search engines appropriately. Find the difference within hyperlinks and regular texts and links. Use sources for research and list your sources.
Question about authentic questions. Stay on task until you're done and not goofing around. Brainstorm ideas for questions I have.
Identify the most important part of a problem. Use tools to make models. Describe and define algorithms and other things.
Present a digital tool and use it correctly . Choose the best digital tool to share work. Identify digital tools for original tools and explain their uses .
Use tools for others and use for the project. Contribute to a group and be truthful to your team members. Be a reliable team member and if you say that you will do something you own up to your word.
