Using tinfoil, I created tinfoil boat because it teaches you how to use the items you have to your disposal.
During this process, I learned the rules and the laws of buoyancy.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because it used your brain power and skill to make a boat that will float.
A challenge I overcame on this project was lack of tinfoil. I was able to do it by bending the tinfoil.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of tinfoil and the limited amount of room for the boat. The reason why I would change it is because it was really small and wasn't big.

My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Marine engineers because you engineer a boat to and make hard for it to sink.
