Using Legos and dash, I created my Lego battle bot because it sounded cool and looks cool but it is very difficult.
During this process, I learned how strong Lego technics are.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because you design you own robot with you own attachments.
A challenge I overcame on this project was my first ram it was to big and too clunky. I was able to do it by building a new ram.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the materials I used. The reason why I would change it is because the Legos I used where weak and wasn't able too hold the force with my robot.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Engineering because you have to take many thing into account like you need to make a robot have a strong ram, have a launcher mechanism, and have some sort of fliping mechanism.
