Using scratch , I created a clicker game because it seemed like a new adventure I can do for the people who do scratch.
During this process, I learned the code of the clicker game and how to make the game and make it fun.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because you need to know the controls to the game.
A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the game to run properly. I was able to do it by messing with some code.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of upgrades. The reason why I would change it is because there isn't a lot.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in game creation because you are making a game and you need to make it so people are not going to hate on it.
