Day 1

We started on our build. we are modeling off a minecraft spider

We finished the body and begining to work on the legs.

We got two legs done today.

Adding finishing touches

Using cardboard, duct tape, and hot glue, I created a minecraft spider because I wanted to make something that I am familiar with.
During this process, I learned placement and proportions.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because I wanted to make something that people are familiar with.
A challenge I overcame on this project was size and proportions. I was able to do it by doing the best I could.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change size. The reason why I would change it is because I think it is a little big.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Construction Trades CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in civil engineering because I made a stable structure out of cardboard.

Me and my partner made a minecraft spider out of cardboard, duct tape, and hot glue. It took us a lot of time to make this.
