Using cardboard, duck tape, and hot glue , I created a truck/car because we wanted to challenge ourselves to make the truck.
During this process, I learned that things don't always go as planned and you need to keep going.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative designer because we had to make a plan, overcome challenges such as putting the walls on then the roof , and get a finished product.
A challenge I overcame on this project was lop sided walls on the back end. I was able to do it by dealing with the fact I could not get rid of it .
Given a chance to do this again, I would change is the cab and wheel size. The reason why I would change it is because the cab looks weird and the wheels look small.

My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in automotive design .
Cardboard project.movWe were originally going to make a car out of cardboard and duck tape, but as the project progressed it turned in to a truck. The truck has a weird looking cabin and very small wheels.
