Using Imotion and Keva planks, I created A townhall because I wanted to work with something hands on and us my imagination to create something that was unique and innovative while utilizing stop motion imagery.
During this process, I learned structural stability while using the Keva planks.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I designing and building my unique structure.
A challenge I overcame on this project was instability of the keva pillars . I was able to do it by being patient and by using trial and error to get them to stay up.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change what I built. The reason why I would change it is because I would like to design some thing different.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the Construction trades CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in civil engineering because I designed and built a structure.
