Using the makey makey, I created various controllers because I wanted to learn more about circuit boards.
During this process, I learned how circuit boards worked.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I decided what to make into a controller.
A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how ground/earth worked. I was able to do it by searching on the web.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the materials. The reason why I would change it is because some of the materials are not as interesting as others.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Mechanical Designer because I usedt he makey makey to design controllers.
